What motivated you to stand in this election?
I am sick of the government waste and mismanagement of this country. I believe I can make a difference and impact for future of our children & grandchildren.
If elected, how would you improve the quality of our waterways and marine environment and work to protect the Great Barrier Reef from the threats of climate change, contaminated sediment and crown of thorns starfish?
I would consult with specialists and experts in this field as I have done in the past with waterway matters.
Would you call for a nationwide audit of agricultural and horticultural chemicals so that local councils can tailor their raw and drinking water testing accordingly ( please see Barron river fact sheet attached) ?
I am aware of better successful farming methods without chemicals etc which harm humans and the environment. I would encourage with incentives to use alternative methods.
What social justice issue do you intend to focus on if elected?
This country was founded on hard working good living people who valued the family unit. Australians need to reinforce the core values of Australia and what it was founded on so our society is a safer and happier society.
What do you think is appropriate development in this electorate? Do you support the idea of the proposed megaresort at Yorkey’s Knob?
I believe any development that brings short and long term jobs is a good thing, providing that the process is carefully and professionally managed.
